Browse quickly through recent (today and yesterday's) NASA satellite images (Suomi NPP, Terra, Aqua satellites) of selected volcanoes. While still in experimental stage, this might be a useful tool if you are looking for ash plumes and thermal anomalies (red dots) caused by fires, volcanoes in eruption and other major heat sources on the earth's surface.
More images are available if you go to the satellite image page of each volcano (select from list). Please note that not all satellites have data for all areas on all days which is why we try to fetch multiple images.
